BUILDING
GLOBAL
TEAMS.

Founder of Webstarted. I build remote software teams for global startups: staff augmentation and direct placement, from pre-seed to Series B+. I lead engineering at GOAT ($3.7B), join startups as a fractional CTO, invest, mentor, and live deep in AI and automation. The guy who asks “and how does this pay for itself?” before it’s too late.

About

I got hooked on technology as a kid, writing my first lines of code on a PC XT that didn’t even have a hard drive or a color monitor. That curiosity, the kind that wants to understand how everything works underneath, never left, and it’s still what drives me 35 years later.

I’ve worn almost every hat: developer, team lead, product owner, engineering manager, founder, investor. I’ve worked remotely and managed distributed teams since 2012, long before it was fashionable. Along the way I learned what I now tell every founder: what breaks a team is almost never technical.

Today I split my time between Webstarted, the ecosystem I founded so geography wouldn’t limit access to talent; leading engineering at GOAT; mentoring founders at 500 Global and Founder Institute; investing early-stage; and teaching high school on Friday mornings. And more and more time building agents and automations. I love building, connecting people, and the conversations that turn into something real.

What I tell every founder

The path

Not a résumé. It’s the long road: from a kid in 7th grade, in 1991, to founding a talent ecosystem. 35 years, a lot of teams, several full cycles. And the same curiosity I started with.

Founder · Webstarted

I started it to fix something I kept seeing: startups with great ideas and no way to build their team fast enough. Today it’s a full ecosystem: staff augmentation, an HR platform with 2,000+ features, an academy with 38,000+ members and a fund with 2 exits. I’d been managing distributed teams as a consultant since 2012, long before it was fashionable.

Engineering Manager · GOAT / Flight Club

GOAT is one of the world’s largest marketplaces for sneakers, streetwear and luxury ($3.7B valuation); Flight Club, the cult sneaker retailer GOAT acquired. Ten years leading a distributed engineering team across 6 countries and designing the Warehouse Management System from scratch. Dev to Team Lead to Product Owner.

Teacher · ORT Argentina (Yatay)

I teach Production Project at the high school, Friday mornings. I genuinely believe the entrepreneurial gene is best planted early, in secondary school and not later. This is my way of contributing: sitting with kids just starting to imagine what they can build. One of the best parts of what I do.

2012 → 2016

Sr. Software Engineer & Team Lead · BeaconLive (ex-Cinchcast)

A B2B platform for webinars, webcasts and virtual events for global audiences. I went from developer to team lead, building web players in .NET and JavaScript.

2009 → 2012

Development Manager · VMBC (now Emerios)

An enterprise software and business-services provider. I managed teams of up to 20 across Argentina and India, turning the owner’s vision into concrete execution.

2002 → 2008

Information Specialist · EDS (Ternium account)

Ternium is Latin America’s largest steel producer. I led development and infrastructure, built the company intranet, and traveled often to Venezuela and Mexico to organize teams and coordinate deployments.

1997 → 2002

First steps

Developer at Banco Río (finance), Media Group (media) and Infostar; and before that, instructor at Futurekids teaching technology. Solid foundations across very different industries.

1996 / 97

The first formal job

I started getting paid to code. Though I’d been coding for years already: by then it was a habit, not a novelty.

1991

7th grade, a PC XT

My first lines of code, in 7th grade, on an XT with no hard drive and no color monitor. I wanted to understand how everything worked underneath. Thirty-five years later, that question is still intact.
